Recently started working a lot with PSE14 on the iMac and now the same thing is happening, it crashes there, too.My thought is to move to PSE 18 although I think there is a PSE 15, too. Have had a bad time with Photoshop Elements 14 crashing on the MacBook Pro. Might there be an old preference which didn't get deleted in the unnstall / reinstall? Some of the ones I can identify in Preferences that ate Lightroom or Photoshop Elements are:Ĭom.adobe.Adobe Lightroom Helper (Renderer)Īdobe Lightroom Classic - 10.3, 10.4, 11.0. I am running High Sierra macOS 10.13.6 on both my iMac and MacBook Pro. I am running Lightroom Classic 12.3 and Photoshop Elements 2023 It starts to load, but when it gets to loading TWAIN menu items, it unexpectedly quits. Consequently i would need to either use DNG converter or upgrade to subscription of PS or LR or both. Wondering if it started when I upgraded from a 2015 MacBook Pro and a new MacBook Air using the Apple M2 Chip at the beginning of the year. Install operating system updates You can fix many problems by simply making sure your operating system is up-to-date. This had worked "normally" until fairly recently. We are literally beta testing their software for them. I get the box that tells me it wont run on 64 bit, and I might go to Catalina some time when all the problems. Still have the problem of image to be edited externally in Elements opening in Preview, not Photoshop Elements. Ive got PSE11 on my imac running Mojave 10.14.6. I wasn't sure which I re-installed first, so I uninstalled again.
